Hold On” is a peak time techno track by Sam WOLFE and Turquoise Music who recently commissioned a new video to accompany the explosive groove of the music.

The shadowy lighting of the video complements the dark atmosphere of the music, and the colours of the lighting match how the vocals cut through to provide uplifting tones.

Sam WOLFE is a highly respected techno producer who is fast becoming one of the genre’s most exciting new artists, and Turquoise Music is a talented vocalist and DJ who sings the lyrics that inspire the track’s title.

Released in July 2023, Hold On came out via UMEK’s highly respected record label 1605, and it was a hit track that now has a video worthy of the music.

Turquoise Music has proven herself to be a multi-talented artist with skills that extend beyond music, as she also directed and produced the video in addition to working as the colourist. Talking about her work on the video, she said: “The concept for “Hold On” originated from a desire to create a dark and mysterious atmosphere that would captivate viewers. To infuse the production with my distinctive style, which features costumes that illuminate in unique ways, became a key focus. The incorporation of the Indian-style humming towards the song’s conclusion inspired a vision of belly dancing as a pivotal element.

“As an artist, I am dedicated to translate my personal artistic vision into my work, which is why I took on the roles of director, editor, and colourist for the video. Collaborating with Sam WOLFE, who shared a strong influence and gave vital input on the project, which led to a fantastic and productive video’s shoot, resulting in a final production that I feel is visually stunning.

“The costumes were designed and styled by Geek Junky who’s also worked with Disney, Tyler Perry and Doom Patrol. Director of Photography was Micheal Garcia, and props, grip and gaffer was provided by Twinn Productions who are a staple in the Atlanta music scene.”

The track has already proven itself to be a hit on the dance floor, and the video helps bring the vibe of a nightclub into the home of those who watch it.

The video is out now, and the track can be bought here.
