We travelled to Georgia a couple of weeks ago to sample the delights of a new electronic music festival in the small little seaside town of Anaklia. A joyous 4-day event with much to offer many a clubber, here are our 5 acts that truly lit up the occasion…

Ben Klock b2b Marcel Dettmann
The two Berghain techno heavyweights were on top form from the off at their set at the main stage Colisseum Auditorium. As they so often do, they created the room with a series of of hard-hitting numbers, effortlessly weaved into some of their more diverse personal numbers. A masterclass for sure 🙂

Andrey Pushkarev
The Russian tastemaker was a joy to watch throughout his set. The perfect blend of precision technique, exquisite taste in wax, and a knowledgeable and appreciative crowd meant this was a special moment of the weekend!

The Icelandic maestro delivered an epic show packed to the rafters with an intelligent mix of melodic techno bangers and classic rave stompers. A man whose reputation seems to be continually on the rise, he didn’t disappoint once here, and made for an exciting friday night slot in the KHIDI Stage.

The Israeli DJ/Producer is known for his expertise in the studio but this performance again also showed that when left alone to orchestrate sweat-drenched, open-minded, open-hearted dancefloors, Moscoman’s musical idealism and years of skill best harmonise into something special.

The big man himself again stepped up to the mark late Saturday night on the main stage, and had the crowd in the palm of his hands for the full duration! Huge builds and drops had the packed arena in a euphoric state, and proved once more why the Bosnian superstar is talked about with such excitement again and again!
