Raidho is back on Sol Selectas with a follow-up to his 2019 release and it’s an epic organic house EP that includes three original tracks plus a broad selection of remixes.

The remixes come from West & Hill, LUM, AMÉMÉ and NenaHalena who each deliver a reimagined version that compliments the original.

AMÉMÉ and NenaHalena are both at the top of their game right now and their joint remix is a complimentary combination of the two producer’s styles. AMÉMÉ is hot off the success of his recent release on Crosstown Rebels and has also featured on the likes of Saved Records. NenaHalena is another hotly tipped talent who has been working with the likes of Stil Vor Talent.

West & Hill has been making a name for himself with the help of releases on BLOND:ISH’s Abracadabra Music and LUM is a hotly tipped producer who delivers two alternative versions of the same track.

Not to be outshone by the remixers, Raidho has also been turning heads with music on a selection of other record labels such as Bar 25 Music, Sirin Music and 3000 Grad Records.

All three of the originals are built around tribal percussion with ambient textures and organic sounds that are shrouded in a medley of organic textures. ‘Jaguar Dance’ is a modern take on a timeless classic, “Whispers” is a moody cut with tropical sound design and “Slow Life” has a really cool bassline with heavy chords.

AMÉMÉ and NenaHalena add an Afro beat to Jaguar Dance, West & Hill adds a new melody to Whispers, and LUM delivers one techy version plus a leftfield electronic mix of Slow Life.

Overall, it’s a very well-put-together release by the Sol Selectas team, but Jaguar Dance is the obvious standout, as it’s hard not to love a reinterpretation of DJ Rolando’s “Knight of the Jaguar.”
