Plump Records has made a fine mark in a short space of time and now Longstocking steps up to carry on the good early form with two tracks of his own while label head Kevin Kanpp remixes.

Delete Messages opens up with a kicking groove and plenty of character. The synths are reversed and build the tension before the groove drops and you’re carried away on a vibe. Chirp, Chirp, Bitch then layers up jazzy, spring cymbals, freaky sci-fi sounds and more driving bass to make for a left of centre but irresistible tune. Chirp, Chirp, Bitch (Kevin Knapp Remix) then ups the energy levels with mad effects, raw drum work and plenty of machine soul.

Longstocking proves why he is such a big name on the fast growing West Coast scene with these killer cuts.
