Opening up the account is I Was Blind feat. Phonic Youth, a track with real emotion and some seriously spine tingling vibes. The feelings are churchy and misty, and creep up on you softly. When the delicate volts arrive it’s a truly overwhelming feeling. A dub version pairs things back somewhat to the warm beats and then comes a fine remix from Rodriguez Jnr. His version is more cosmically minded, with twinkling keys and arching pads going up to the heavens. It’s a real classic with plenty of freshness.
