Intention Music drops a new release that revisits a classic track by its label boss Nure.

Nure’s “Onna” gets the remix treatment from A*S*Y*S and Teenage Mutants who both deliver thumping techno reworks of the classic track originally released in 2019.

The original version of Onna is much deeper than the new versions that ramp up the tempo and chunk up the drums to transform it into driving techno.

Each of the two remix artists add their own touches, A*S*Y*S version is powered by a whopping lead synth laced with acid, and Teenage Mutants opt for a more a more dystopian vibe.

A*S*Y*S has been releasing music for over two decades and has a style that mixes old school sounds with modern production styles. He runs the Fe Chrome label and has also featured on other labels including Filth on Acid, Suara and Autektone.

Teenage Mutants are well-known for their releases on labels like Terminal M, 1605, Codex and Tronic, having a background in melodic styles and blend powerful melodies with booming percussion.

First on the release is the remix by A*S*Y*S, which after a euphoric opening erupts into an onslaught of explosive percussion and enthralling synths that get infused with acid. Teenage Mutants keep the original’s lead sound and after raising the tempo add in their own industrial percussion.

This release will no doubt be doing some damage on the dance floor, and we are told that DJs already showing support including UMEK, Marco Faraone, Joyhauser, Ramiro Lopez, Ramon Tapia and Spektre.
